ORION organises the Algeria Mobile Summit: mission and pledges
Who is behind AMS 2027? ORION, organiser of Algeria's first show dedicated to the smartphone, sets out its mission, its vision and its commitments.
A show is judged on opening day, but it is built months before. Behind the Algeria Mobile Summit 2027 stands ORION, the event's organiser. Its job: design the show, bring the mobile ecosystem together in Hall A at SAFEX, support every exhibitor until the doors open on 27 January 2027 at 10:00, and deliver four days worthy of the subject.
Why ORION is launching a mobile show
The smartphone sits at the centre of Algerian life. People use it to work, pay, learn, have fun and stay in touch. Yet no event had ever gathered all the players who make it exist: manufacturers, distributors, operators, infrastructure providers, startups, institutions and users.
That observation is where the project starts. The Algeria Mobile Summit is the first event dedicated to Algeria's smartphone ecosystem. Its mission: help steer the sector, map its players, measure its social, economic and technological impact, and size its growth potential, so that public and private decision-makers can act on solid ground.
A vision carried by ORION
The vision is ambitious: make AMS the reference mobile technology event in North Africa, and help Algeria be recognised as a hub for mobile, startups and digital innovation. In short, to shape the future of mobile innovation.
The organiser has set three priorities:
- Empower innovation, by giving startups and local talent a stage;
- Build meaningful connections between industry, entrepreneurs, investors, students and the public;
- Drive digital transformation, by showing what mobile already changes in companies and homes.
Six values, applied to the show
- Innovation: a 50-spot Tech Village for startups, with pitches in front of a jury and investors.
- Collaboration: networking areas and B2B speed dating, so that meetings turn into projects.
- Accessibility: free entry with registration, because technology should be open to everyone.
- Excellence: a clear route through four villages, a stand-by-stand floor plan and a carefully produced official catalogue.
- Community growth: room for students, talent and entrepreneurs from across the country.
- Impact: an industry report, so the show leaves useful data behind.
What ORION guarantees exhibitors
Exhibiting at AMS means working with a team that follows every file. The organiser helps you choose your location on the Hall A floor plan, sends a detailed pro forma invoice and keeps exhibitors informed until opening day through posts and news flashes. Outside opening hours, security is provided by the organiser, as set out in the general participation rules.
