Algeria Mobile Summit 2027: Algerian mobile gets its own show
From 27 to 30 January 2027, SAFEX in Algiers hosts Algeria's first show dedicated to the smartphone: 4 villages, 200 exhibitors, free entry.

The Algeria Mobile Summit opens its doors on Wednesday 27 January 2027 at 10:00, at the Palais des Expositions SAFEX in Algiers. For four days, until Saturday 30 January, Hall A hosts the first event dedicated to Algeria's smartphone ecosystem. Exhibitors, decision-makers, startups, operators and visitors meet around one subject: mobile, and what it is changing in the country.
The phone is now the tool Algerians use to work, pay, learn and stay close to their families. It still had no event of its own. AMS fills that gap with a clear ambition: bring the whole ecosystem together in one place, measure it and help it grow.
What the Algeria Mobile Summit sets out to do
The show's mission is to help shape the strategic direction of Algeria's mobile ecosystem. In practice, that means mapping its players, measuring its social, economic and technological impact, and sizing its growth potential. The aim is to inform public and private decision-makers and to establish mobile as a lasting driver of the country's digital transformation.
Three focus areas shape the 2027 edition:
- The social impact of mobile: what the smartphone changes in habits, inclusion, education and family life.
- Economic and business transformation: payments, commerce and productivity, with mobile as a growth engine for companies.
- Technological innovation and the future: networks, startups and new uses.
An industry report will accompany the event, so that four days of discussion leave something useful behind for the whole sector.
Four villages in Hall A
The show is organised into four themed villages, each built around one use of mobile and one audience.
- SmartLife Village, for visitors: mobile in everyday life, lifestyle and connected uses to try for real.
- SmartWork Village, for professionals: mobile as a lever for performance and productivity in companies and organisations.
- Global Village, for infrastructure: the technological foundations of mobile and the links between operators, regulators and infrastructure providers.
- Tech Village, for innovation: spotting talent, boosting local innovation and connecting startups with investors and decision-makers.
Around the villages, the programme combines conferences in the Ali Maachi room, panels, workshops, talks, startup pitches, demos, B2B speed dating, networking and a competition.
First-edition targets
- 40,000 expected visitors: visitors, professionals and students
- 200 exhibitors: brands, operators and institutions
- 50 startups, from seed to scale-up
- 4 themed villages
These are targets, and they show the scale of the project: a show where curious visitors cross paths with operators, where startups meet investors, and where companies discover the tools their teams will run on tomorrow.
